একটা কোলাহল হয়ে ছেলেরা আসবে
ওদের তুলে নেবে
কল্পতরু বলে ঝোলায় ভরবে
ধুবে, ধুয়ে চকচকে করবে
ক্ষুদ্র ছিদ্রগুলি বন্ধ করে পালিশ মাখাবে
মেলায় নিয়ে গিয়ে দোকান দেবে
মহিলারাও মেলায় আসবে
ওদের শঙ্খ হাতে তুলে নেবে
নিখুঁত এক একটি শঙ্খ
পঞ্চমুখী না অষ্টমুখী
নেড়েচেড়ে তাই দেখবে

এক চোখ বুজে অন্যটায় গভীরে ঝুঁকে দেখবে
ঠেলে দেবে দমকা বাতাস
ঠোঁট দুটি সূঁচলো করে
শঙ্খ-নিনাদে আকাশের চন্দ্রাতপ
কাঁপিয়ে তুলবে
মাটির বিগ্রহ,পাথরের বিগ্রহ
সবাই জেগে উঠবে

অপ্সরার কণ্ঠে কী বাজে,কী বাজে
সবার চোখ কপালে উঠবে
ঠিক তখনই
লুইতের বুকের ছোটো একটা ঢেউ
সাগরে ভেসে উঠবে

ভায়োলিনের বাদক

ভায়োলিনটির বুকে হাজারজনের দুঃখ
বিলাপ করতে থাকে রাত থেকে সকাল
অহির ভৈরব
সেই দুঃখে কাতর হয়ে পড়ে ঘরের ভেতর
কেঁপে উঠে থরথর
আর নিজের অজান্তেই খসে পড়ে
ঘরের টই
সুযোগ বুঝে বাতাস
সেই সুর চুরি করে নিয়ে
মেলে ধরে মুক্ত আকাশে
শোকের নক্মা দেখে
রাতে ফোঁটা ফুলগুলি
একটা দুটো পাপড়ি খসে
নীচে আর জায়গা নেই
ভালোবাসা কেন কাঁদায়

কোমল শিশির
সেদিনের রাতটা কুশল বাদক

আমার সঙ্গে আত্মীয়তা জুতোর
মুচি সেরকমই ভাবে
আমি জুতোয় রঙ মাখি,
মুখ দেখা যাওয়ার মতো করে পালিশ করি
ছিঁড়ে গেলে সেলাই করি
আঠা লাগাই, পেরেক মারি
‘সোল’ লাগাই
মজবুত, সুন্দর মেহগিনি কাঠের
কাঠমিস্ত্রি যেভাবে তৈরি করে
খাট, পালং, সোফা, বুককেস
মাঝে মধ্যে ভাবি
আমাদের দিন চলে গেছে
রঙ-বেরঙের জুতোয় বাজার ছেয়ে গেছে
কে মেরামতি করে
একবার পরে আবর্জনায় ছুঁড়ে দেয়
তবে, নতুন জুতোর চকমকানি আর কতদিন
দুদিন কাঁদ্দা-জল আর
বৃষ্টিতে ভিজলেই
ওদের অহঙ্কা্র ধুলোয় মিশোয়
তখন আমার খোঁজে
আমার কাছে এসে বসে
আমি মুচি
পায়ের জুতো, স্যাণ্ডেলগুলিকেই দেখি
কেউ ব্যক্তিত্ব সম্পন্ন, কেউ বিদূষক
কেউ ছেলেমানুষ, কেউ সমজদার

বলের পেছনে ছুটে বেড়ানো
স্কুলের ছেলেটির জোতাজোড়া
রঙ ঘষতে অনেক সময় লাগে

আমরা অন্ধকারে পড়ে থাকি

মৃত্যু

মানুষ চিরদিনের জন্য এই পৃথিবীতে থাকে না
আসার পথে আবার চলে যায়
ফেলে যায় নিজের সমস্ত কিছু
তাঁর প্রিয় পোশাক আশাক
তাঁর প্রিয় কলমটা
তাঁর শোনা গানগুলি,লেখা কথাগুলি
তাঁর প্রিয়তম পুরুষ অথবা নারী

চলে গেলেও থেকে যায় কিছু অনুভব
কারও হৃদয়ে তাঁর কথাগুলি থেকে যায়
কারও স্মৃতিকে কাতর করে
অহরহ ভাসতে থাকে তাঁর উপস্থিতি
বর্তমানে তিনি শরীরী নন
অমরত্বে তাঁর প্রয়োজন নেই

তাঁর একটা স্বপ্ন ছিল
একটা চারাগাছকে লালন করে বড়ো করার মতো
স্বপ্নটার পাখা গজিয়েছিলেন তিনি
সেটাও ফেলে রেখে একদিন চলে যান
যাবার আগে হয়তো কাউকে বলেন
স্বপ্নটাকে বাস্তবায়িত করার জন্য তোরা লেগে থাকবি
কিছু মানুষ হাত ধরে লক্ষ্যে চলে যায়
কিছু মানুষ তাঁর সঙ্গে সেখানেই সমাধিস্থ করে স্বপ্ন
