ছায়া সম্পর্কে যতটুকু আমি জানি

কিছুদিন ছায়ার কথা না লেখা হলে আমি মোটেই ভালো থাকি না।
অযথা লোকের সাথে খিটমিট করি,
অথবা গুমরে গুমরে নিজেকে করে তুলি আস্ত একটা ব্যথার পুতুল।
ছায়া, যে গা এলিয়ে শুয়ে থাকে, ব্যস্ত হয় না।
চারপাশে কড়া রোদের জীবন যাকে দেখে ছিঃ ছিঃ করে-
বলে,এতটাও নিশ্চিত থাকা ভালো নয় মোটেই।
লোকে ওর কাছে আসে, কিছুক্ষণ দাঁড়ায়
বলে ওর মধ্যে এমন একটা মায়া আছে, ভয় লাগে।
আমারও এমন এক মায়ার কথা প্রতিদিন লিখে রাখতে ইচ্ছে হয়,
বিশেষত সবাই নিজস্ব ছায়াগুলো বাজারে চরা দামে বিক্রি করার জন্য লম্বা লাইনে দাঁড়ায়,
আমি তখন দেখি আমার ছায়াটা আমাকে ছাড়িয়ে আরো আরো বড় হয়ে যাচ্ছে-
লম্বা হতে হতে সে ছুঁয়ে নিচ্ছে আরো আরো ছায়া

সমস্ত পেছনে তাকানো মানুষের ছায়া জুড়ে জুড়ে একটা অন্য পৃথিবীর জন্ম দিতে চেয়েছিলাম আমরা।
বলেছিলাম-
মানুষের মধ্যে যে আশ্চর্য সুন্দর শান্তি আছে,অন্ধকার আছে-
তা কেবল চড়া রোদে দাঁড়ালেই বোঝা যায়।

বিরাট গর্তগুলো নিয়ে নানা গ্রহে ঘুরে বেরিয়েছে সে ভিক্ষুক হয়ে
অবশেষে একদিন তুলসীতলায় এসে শুয়েছিল
তার ওপর গড়ে উঠেছিল গ্রাম
যে গ্রামে পৃথিবীর সমস্ত পরাজিত প্রেমিক প্রেমিকারা এসে ঘর বাঁধে
আর এক অদৃশ্য কবির প্রেত পাহাড়ায় থাকে

ঠকে ঠকে বুড়ো হয়ে গেলাম, তবু যে কেন শিক্ষা হয়না…
আমরা যারা, এই আকাশ, পাখি,তারা, পাতা-এদের
শিক্ষা হয়নি বলেই তাদের কলমটা আর কলম নেই,
বিকেলের মাঠে ফেলে আসা খেলাটা জন্যে বন্ধুদলের ডাক হয়ে গেছে।
