নির্বাচিত অংশের প্রতি

ধর্ষণ ও খুনের লেখা, মুখিয়ার পরগনা শালগাছ পাতা কুড়ানিরা, চুপচাপ চান্দ্রমাসে ঝরে গেছে। ক্যালেন্ডারে গোল চিহ্ন ঋতুস্রাব এলোমেলো শহরের পথ, খাদি ও গ্রামোদ্যোগ লেদ মেশিনের কারখানা, তারও পরে মে-দিবসে হাড়ভাঙা শ্রমের নিশীথে, তিয়াসায় চাঁদ পায় হাসনুহানা ছাতিমের ঘ্রাণে।

এ লেখার প্ররোচনা নেই, ব্যক্তিগত কেউ কেউ বলবেন সম্পদের অর্ধেকের বেশি বাংলা কবিতার… তবু বলি— বিমারি ভুখমারি অওর মওত, হমরী হাত নহী হ্যায় ম্যানেজারসাব। হুগলি নদীর তীরে পতাকা ছোপান হয় সারারাত, শিফটের বারনার জ্বলে…
